About

I’m Joslynn Mathis Reed, a dance professor and instructor with an MFA in Choreography & Performance. I’ve taught and created work across the Bay Area for over a decade, and movement has been my lifelong language, from Detroit house parties to college teaching studios to mothering two beautiful children. After stepping away to care for my family, I rebuilt my relationship with my body through softness, presence, and intentional movement.
Bloom in Liberation is born from that journey.
