Ashley L. Wheatley was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, by Tina Wheatley and Reginald Adams. Although her professional path led her into software and innovation, her passion for writing, poetry, the performing arts, and community service remained at the center of her journey.

Charmina Franklin is a leader, advocate, and passionate champion for individuals and families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Clark Atlanta University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Argosy University. Her educational background, combined with her professional experience, has given her a unique perspective on human behavior, leadership, resilience, and the power of advocacy.
